Welcome to Chas’ HotBooks!
Whatever else you do, get a copy of Chas’ new collection, The Turnip Mercedes and Other Tasty Tales so you, too, can spend happy hours laughing even as some of the tales set you to re-thinking what may have been truths in your life or your surroundings. I keep picking it up to read “just one story this time.” Don’t bet on reading just one, though.
Now, back to my usual bit:
Chas’ HotBooks is a small, growing West Coast book publisher of Helpful, Out-of-the-ordinary, Thought-provoking BOOKS and more. Chas’ popular titles include Sizzling Spells: how to make any man want to talk to you, a frivolous look at deep truths about relationships; Black Hole: unexpected tool for joyous living, an intimate portrait of a mother’s grief, in which she shares insights from 13 years of outliving her son John; On Shifting Sands, a gathering of poetry from times of change; and Lessons to Share: workbook for a healthy family, which spawned the long-popular eLessons mailing list. By popular request, Chas also moderates the GoodGrief mailing list for those desiring community as they strive to live beyond grief, sharing what they learn along the way. Limitless Internetworking — One Person at a Time is available — so far, only as an e-book. Chas’ small but potent (and out of print) Limitless Networking earned her a name among business folks on the Net in the early years of our publishing venture. We’re sure this revised book — also small and a powerful tool — will put her back into that spotlight. Never one to waste words, Chas has condensed the nuts and bolts of networking with heart into this book no one in business should be without. As part of the site redesign, we have — whether temporarily or permanently isn’t yet decided — removed the books by other authors. We’ve also begun a page of Places We Love. Expect additions to that page as we have time. Having her own publishing company has allowed Chas a great deal of flexibility in having her books published in a timely manner, and also helps her stay in touch with her readers. However, it’s been a time-consuming proposition. We are gradually getting out of the book-printing and book-binding end of the business, and we’re all thrilled to have beautifully perfect-bound books to offer you, our customers and friends. We hope you enjoy our site, and that you come back often.
