Chas’ Custom Poems were a big part of our Web site sales for five or six years, then Chas took a break from them. During the last couple of years, she’s written more and more of them, so we’ve added them back here.
These three samples are all illustrated with her photographs. You have the option of choosing illustrated or not, or of providing your own photo(s) to use for the illustration.
The first of these poems is Chas’ celebration of being back in the home of her heart for a year. She illustrated that one with views from her home and the homes of friends.
The other two are birthday poems where the first letters of each line spell out the recipient’s name. People seem to particularly enjoy receiving such personal poems, and Chas loves writing them around what she knows of the people. If you want that sort of poem, be prepared to let her know anywhere from a little to quite a bit about the person so the poem can be very personal. The photos were selected to match the recipients’ favorite colors.
Other options are poems for holidays, for occasions (graduation, a promotion, a new baby, getting a driver’s license, moving into a new house, baptism, a new book), for company events or mailings.
